The three costume looks I'm making for my models are a mixture between punk/rock and modern casual clothing. I'm mixing popular and known brands like Obey and Levi with band tees like Beastie Boys.
Look number one is primarily black which is a convention of my genre, but has a splash of colour in for form of a band logo. The actual band doesn't really matter as pop punk band members often have a verity of different individual music tastes. For look number 1 I chose Beastie Boys.

Look number two again is primarily black but with a band logo, it's quite similar to look number two but the band is different. I chose Nirvana because their yellow logo looks really good next to the blue of Beasie Boy's logo.

And finally look number three is a mixture between youth of the 2010s, and youth of the 60s/70s. I did this by combining a leather jacket with a Obey jumper, and styling the hair of my model in limbo between a Grease style hair, and a modern 'quiff' haircut.

Like many other rock/punk magazine cover images, the photos are taken in a studio - so that's what I'm going to do. The models will be wearing different band tees and primarily black. One band member will be wearing a leather jacket.

I'd sorted out 3 models, 2 out of the 3 canceled on me the morning before the photo shoot and one of them just didn't turn up. I dried my tears, found more models, and got to work. After booking the photography studio, arriving and spending hours setting it up, we were kicked out because we weren't 'photography students,' even though no one else was using the room, or wanted to use the room, and we had with us 3 photography students who were trained in using the studio.
Anyway after all of this hassle, I finally got the photos. They're not exactly what I wanted, but they're as close as I could get.
Firstly I went to town and splashed the cash on coloured hair spray, mascara and eyebrow pencils. (I wanted my model to have brownish black hair, but he has bleached blonde hair) I also bought some coloured jells for the lighting, a pink wig and some orange hair dye (the hair dye wasn't used as it was for one of the models that canceled on me). I also bought some chewing gum for everyone to keep moral up and motivation strong.

As you can see, he has blonde hair. I wanted him to have brunette hair so that on the Double Page Spread photo his hair would stand out more against the light. We used makeup, mascara and two bottles of coloured hairspray to do this:
As you can see by Jack's hands, this was a very messy and time consuming process, but I think it was worth it.
Costume and Location
I've decided to have my models wear all black in the front cover. I'd like one of the guys in the back to have a leather jacket on as well. This is the type of clothing that people that listen to the Pop Punk music genre would wear. I chose Jack as one of my models because he has a stretcher and a very 'scene' look. Scene kids love this sort of music genre so I consulted with Jack on what sort of clothing my models should wear. Here is how I want it to look, I hadn't chosen all of my models yet so I made their heads the heads of my favourite animals:
